Hallo one and all! How is everyone?! Hope you’re all getting into the festive spirit, not long to go now… Myself and Amanda have actually got some early Christmas treats for you as our last two guests, Masha and Elliot Castro, have kindly allowed us to put their amazing mini mixes up for a free download! Amazing. You can find the links and playlists below… Last weeks show also saw us travelling back to 1989 in our feature, ‘Year of the Week’. I kept it soulful with a bit of ‘Back to Life’ by Soul II Soul, but most people have said Floyd pipped me to the post with Frankie Knuckles - ‘Your Love’… Which tune do you reckon best represents 1989? Are you Jeff Vader?

As promised, we’ve got a link here to a download of the 20 min mix from our November 4th show from Jeff Vader. Expect filthy electro house throughout, with some curve balls thrown in for good measure, from the likes of Harry J All Stars to C-Mon & Kypski.

This week we’ll be unfortunately without Rosa, however we’ve got guest host and 20 min mix from Indra who will be bringing some Sub Terrain flavours to the Mashup melting pot!

Also, on last weeks show, we had big big tracks for Year Of The Week - Tagteams’s - Whoomp (There it is!) from Rosa, and Amanda brought to the airwaves M Beat Ft. General Levy’s - Incredible! Back for the second week on Subcity Radio, and what a show it was. House, funky and dubstep to get the show kicked off, and probably far too much banter, but its what happens! In the beginning..

Oi Oi!

Its Amanda here, putting up our first post on the ‘Bangers & Mashup’ blog page! The plan is to keep you guys involved with some content on here every week, keeping your hearts beating until each Saturday night.

After some slight technical hitches, things ran smoother than expected, and hopefully things can only go two ways now: forward and up! This week we had BARRIENTOS involved in our, ‘Introducing’ feature - where we showcase a 20 min mix from upcoming and underground djs at the end of the show. As usual, he delivered a collection of stompers and not only that, i got to catch up with the man himself over the phone. Due to technicals and stuff, you may miss the end of his wonderful mix on the listenback file… (which means missing his EXCLUSIVE new remix of Megamegaman!)

..But because we love you, we’ve put it up here for download. So enjoy!
